The Otago Anglers Association also has a very active
Junior Club with about 40 members. Details on meeting times are available
on request . At their meetings they are taught all the different types of
fishing, water safety, fly tying, how to make their own floats and lures
etc. Juniors are also taken on fishing trips around Dunedin, with a
weekend trips to the Mataura or Pomahaka Rivers, where they stay over
night at the Lodges.
